Forest Carbon Project for Maiyoo Keyoh Society

Carbon research pic 001Inlailawatash was contracted by the Maiyoo Keyoh Society (MKS), a First Nations community close to Fort St. James, BC, to develop a carbon management framework in the form of a Project Design Document (PDD) for forest carbon. Working closely with the President of the MKS and in partnership with 3GreenTree Ecosystem Services Ltd, Inlailawatash delivered a highly professional and comprehensive package of information and education materials, incorporating a preliminary PDD. This is a technical document that provides the foundation for the subsequent validation and verification audit of a forest carbon project and the ultimate selling of carbon credits on the carbon market.

In addition to receiving highly positive feedback from the client, Inlailawatash staff gained valuable experience in the field of forest carbon management.
